Famous musician Ahmad Dhani has been accused of defamation
      At the inaugural hearing of the musician Dhani Ahmad Prasetyo or Ahmad Dhani was    charged with article 27 paragraph 3 junto article 45 paragraph 3 of the Electronic Transaction Information Act (ITE) regarding defamation at the Surabaya District Court.
In the verdict of the panel of judges, Ahmad Dhani was proven to have committed a criminal offense under the threat of criminal penalties in Article 45A paragraph 2 of Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions in conjunction with Article 28 paragraph 2 of the ITE Law in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) 1 The Criminal Code (KUHP).
      Ahmad Dhani was sentenced to 1.5 years in prison. Ahmad Dhani was found guilty of uttering hate speech through posts on his Twitter account. the defendant Dhani Ahmad Prasetyo alias Ahmad Dhani was proven legally and convincingly guilty of committing a crime, “said presiding judge Ratmoho read out the verdict in Ahmad Dhani’s verdict in South Jakarta District Court, Jl Ampera Raya, South Jakarta.
